First prepare the ingredients:
- Phoenix OS File http://www.phoenixos.com/en/download_x86
- EasyBCD application http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/
- Bootice application https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/bootice_64_bit.html
- Android PC Toolbox http://bbs.phoenixstudio.org/en/showthread.php?tid=9661
Okay, just follow the tutorial:
- First download the Phoenix Os which is ISO
- Then extract the file as soon as it becomes the ISO file extract again using Winrar, 7z, or cassette burning software
- The file that has been extracted named the PhoenixOS folder
- Move the folder where you want to install, for example, want to save it on drive D: it means it will be stored there.
- Create data. Use APT (Android PC Toolbox)
- To make it live run the APT then press the button "6. Create data.img files" -> "2. Create data.img without data files" -> "There is a choice of how many GB for storing the sample you want 32gb" then wait for a while depending on size the data.img created.
- When it's done, paste "data.img" from the APT "out" folder into the "PhoenixOS" folder that you created earlier
- All is done now we have to make Dual Boot using EasyBCD software
- Then after downloading + install, run the software and press "Add New Entry" search for "NeoGroup" then press "Install".
- If you already press "configure" then delete all the text in menu.lst that opens and then paste this code
default 0
timeout 0
title Phoenix OS
root (hdx,y)
find --set-root ls /PhoenixOS/system.img
kernel /PhoenixOS/kernel quiet root=/dev/ram0 androidboot.hardware=android_x86_64 SRC=/PhoenixOS DATA=/PhoenixOS
initrd /PhoenixOS/initrd.img
boot
For those who do not know the location of the hdd you use the BOOTICE software then select Destination Disk then press Manage Parts then check your installation drive (for example D: means drive number 1)
x = the hard disk that you are using now (if you have 1, fill it with number 0 but if you install it on the second hdd, fill in number 2)
y = the location of the partition you installed (if installed on D: yes fill in number 1 if installed on E: fill in number 2)
Continue to save the code to "Edit Boot Menu" then name the OS "PhoenixOS" and for those who use Windows 8 or 10 check "Use Metro Bootloader".
If all has been done just brush it right by restarting the PC or the laptop waiting for the dual boot to appear if the Phoenix works, congratulations) and for those who still fail to enthusiasm to ask just like failing, also install mod so learn from your failure
